Australian Army WW2 Bolo style Machete. Purchased new and unissued back in the 1980s from an Army Surplus store. Wrapped in brown greaseproof paper. No scabbard. Hand made a leather scabbard to army pattern. Only used a few times then greased and put away. Is razor sharp and has army markings.. two large capital D's with an upwards arrow in between them. Under and to the l/h side is a small capital D & C touching each other, a dash and 44. So it is dept of defence and made in 1944. Comes with the scabbard. 2 other photos available. $225 plus postage.
