LSA 1915 No 1 Mk 3 303 rifle converted in 1935 to a 22 trainer (No 2 Mk 4 standard) by fitting a new barrel and bolt head (not a tube). The rifle was issued to 61 Squadron RAF in 1937. This is a rare RAF issue trainer in unmolested and original condition and remains as it did in RAF service. Matching numbers receiver, bolt, nose cap, barrel and fore end. Has the WW1 extended version butt (fairly common on early WW1 English SMLE rifles). Rifle has been test fired and operation is perfect. A RAF issue No 2 Mk 4 trainer in original condition (with sling) is a rarity so is perfect for that Enfield collection. Transfer and freight to your dealer is $100 (except WA and NT).
