1897 Sparkbrook LE1 converted to CLLE and later issued to Royal Navy. Left wrist stamped "CLLE 1" and "N". A good serviceable example of a rare rifle. Headspace has been checked as OK and has been test fired and all good. Re barrelled by Lithgow in 1928 probably for range use (but fortunately not shortened to range pattern). Retains long range volley sights front and rear as well as the magazine cut off. Barrel gauges at 3.035 inch which indicates it has not had a lot of use and is not "shot out". Barrel however is "frosty" but will clean up with use. This is a collectable or shooter Long Tom MLE which has the rare CLLE modification. Transfer and freight to Your dealer $100 (except WA).
