Nice blonde early laminate stock, unsanded/molested. Came off of a R.C k98k. Has WA18 with eagle grasping swastika behind the grip. Underside below serial number. 2698 is also on the barrel channel. Eagle 26 on the nose cap and buttplate.
Straight and tight fitting to the rifle, nose cap is firm, not loose. R.C forced matched number on left hand side (3746) Has had a repair at some stage, looks like a war time repair according to books I have read. Excellent repairmanship on the right side.
