Barrel looks to be unfired. Purchased for a re-barrelling job but I ended up purchasing a complete rifle instead. Despite what you may have read on some forums, Ruger .303s shoot fine if the forend is bedded correctly. With mine it required free floating the forend and bedding of the barrel hanger.
