It has a magnification range of 1.8-7.2x giving a wide field of view whilst still having the ability to detect animals out to 800 metres. There are 3 modes of operation, a 50 Hz refresh rate & 7 different colour palettes. It also features a stadiametric rangefinder and a quick start up / power saving mode. The unit runs off 4 x AA alkaline or rechargeable batteries and has a spare battery carrier included for fast repowering in the dark. It also has video output capability & can be run from an external power supply if desired. Another great feature is the built in lens protector by just rotating the objective bezel to protect the lens.
