As issued unmolested Lithgow SMLE with an excellent barrel. Very good presentation with the lighter colour coachwood timber with very few dings. Action, butt and barrel 1944, forend 1945. The bolt head is 1954 and appears new. Bolt and nosecap are not numbered so I suspect this rifle was refurbished after 1944. Headspace good as is operation of the rifle. A very good example of a WW2 rifle which has not been modified in any way and remains in its original issued condition. Email for more photos or info. Transfer and freight is $95 Australia wide.
