Manufactured 1974 being last dash model with desirable pinned barrel. Case hardened 3T’s, firing pin on hammer & forged internals hand fitted by S&W gunsmiths back in the day. Appears to have had minimal use with minor handling marks on deep blueing, light cylinder turn line. Barrel and chambers like new with very smooth and tight function. Getting hard to find now in this original factory condition. A very good collectable example & would be hard to beat for Target Pistol/NRA or Service Pistol competitions as considered one of the most accurate factory revolvers ever made.
