Hard to find and sought after early Remington Varmint Special. Heavy barrel and desirable B serial number, mid 80's production from a by gone era of quality. Rifles from this era are much better quality than the later production rifles.
These were renowned for their inherent accuracy straight out of the box.
This rifle is in excellent condition and has only fired 98 rounds of factory ammo in its entire life.
The jewelling on the bolt and the blueing on the locking lugs is consistent with this barely used rifle. It even has its original green box. Nice item that won't disappoint.
One would find it almost impossible to upgrade on this example which had=s been carefully looked after and correctly stored.
These don't come up very often, let alone in this kind of condition. Two have been sold here since 2013.
