Unused Competition Neck Die Set includes:
– Competition Bushing Necking Sizing Die (with .262 bushing)
– Body Die
– Competition Seating Die
The bushing neck die ensures the cartridge case is completely supported and aligned with the sizing bushing, which self-centres on the case neck. The micrometer adjustment of the bushing position allows precise control to the desired amount of neck length to be sized. The die was designed for Competition Shooters who have meticulously prepared their cases and do not wish to use a sizing button in this stage of the reloading process.
The Body Die in the kit is designed to full length resize the case body and bump the shoulder position for proper chambering without disturbing the case neck. They are made without internal parts and intended for use only to resize cases which have become increasingly difficult to chamber after repeated firing and neck sizing.
The Competition Seating Die is best on the market. Precise machining, tight tolerances, smooth operation. The micrometer is calibrated in .001? increments for precise seating depth and is infinitely adjustable (no clicks). It also has a setting feature that allows you to seat at your favourite depth.
