Here is a very rare find, a new UNFIRED 10 inch barrel version, ideal for rimfire silhouette competition straight out of the box.
This one comes from my collection and is absolutely unfired and is in immaculate condition. It comes with its original box, spare magazine and owner manual.
These models were never made in big numbers and to add to that very few ever made it over to Australia.
This particular pistol was made in 1989 when Ruger's quality was a lot better than it is today. The MK2 is considered to be the best ever model version of the rimfire MK series pistols.

I shot one of these regularly in competition and I could easily place 5 shots into a twenty cent coin sized group with quality ammo over a rest at 50m.
My asking price is very fair and reasonable when you consider that this new unfired MK2 10 inch (255mm) barrel version is a rare gun and is much better quality than the current new MK4 series which have a maximum barrel length of 174mm – which is not as desirable or suitable for silhouette competition.
The current lesser quality MK4 series is priced at $1325 for the 174mm Hunter version which is out of stock with the importer and there is no ETA.
