Here we have a blued 14 inch Thompson Contender barrel which has had very little use and is in excellent condition.
In the right hands surprisingly these TC's will out shoot many rifles.
I have had these place five shots into 5/8" scoped over a rest at 100 meters with two different barrels using 140 gr Sierra Gameking and Hornady 139gr Spire Points using BM2 and 2206.
The worst loads I ever developed for the Waters shot 5 shots into 1 inch @ 100M.
The 7-30 Waters is a very easy calibre to tune. Brass is just common 30-30 Win that gets fireformed after the first firing.
