Built in 1943 from the Orange small arms factory, new never fired with grease still in the barrel. I have had this rife for about 45 years bought out of the crate with tar paper around it. At the same time we purchased a new bayonet and the correct canvas sling and have a very old box of ammo if collected locally. This matching numbers rifle dose has a ding in the near side butt stock but other wise is in as made condition. A true collectors piece that has never been touched.
