In very good condition, this BSA has quite a history, being made in 1917 and last FTR'd by Lithgow in 1946. We can only guess, but it probably came to Australia with the AIF after WWI and likely saw service with our troops in WWII before being refurbished and put in storage. It has a working magazine cutoff with later-model magazine. The bore is excellent. The photos on our website show its overall very good condition. Numbers on action, bolt, rear sight and nose cap all match.
