Tikka CTR with 26" Proof Research steel 8 twist heavy palma barrel with APA LB brake (cerakoted graphite black), Chambered in 7mm SAW with SAW 1 reamer. Fitted into a Manners T4A GAP coloured stock with CTR DBM and CTR magazine. Stock comes with Badger Ordnance forward pic rail.
The 7mm SAW is a cartridge capable of pushing 180gr projectiles to 2750fps, 160-168gr projectiles to 2800-2900fps, and 150 grain close to 3000fps with minimal recoil implications, better wind deflection and longer barrel life than 6 and 6.5mm cartridges. My other 7mm SAW rifles have nodes at 2820 and 2860fps using 162gr ELD-Ms Reloader 16. Brass is easily formed by running 308 Palma brass once through the full length sizing die, no fireforming required. 7mm SAW brass is now available as well from Alpha Munitions.
