Reluctant sale. One for the serious collector. 1903 all original (not reproduction) with original stock. Serial number puts it as an April 1942 manufactured rifle, with original correct barrel stamped "4-42" Well looked after for an 80 year old rifle.
Serial number is over 800,000 so no issues with the heat treatment of receiver.
Action is smooth with no issues, bore is really good, has shine and strong rifling considering age. Patina on metalwork is beautiful and consistent with age. Woodwork is not the best but again, it is almost 80 years old.
Will include ammo (if picking up) and correct stripper clip with sale.
