Selling for a customer on consignment his earlier made WW GREENER 12Ga box lock extractor shotgun with 30” blued steel barrels, choked we believe full and 3/4, raised tapered file cut rib signed “W.W Greener Maker 40 Pall Mall London Works St Marys Square Birmingham” with brass front bead, Birmingham nitro proof marks for 1 ¼ oz [36 gram] loads, stamped 2 3/4” chambers, still has traces of case hardening to side and base plates, also signed “W.W Greener”. Top lever break strong cross bolt action opens smoothly and action is firm on the face, manual safety to the side. Deeley catch and buffalo horn tip to the fore end, figured walnut stock has silver escutcheon for initials. Chequering is very lightly worn with length of pull being 14 ½ ” with the original factory butt pad. The gun is a very nice all original unaltered example with only minor cosmetic handling/storage marks to bluing, metal and timber. Sold as is with no tradeins or lay-buys on this firearm.
