Made in the original Brno factory, this classic ZKM452 model 2 .22 was built in 1956 (first year of production and only 15,000 were ever made in this configuration). This is a solidly built unit with very good rifling and good metal work. The stock is well figured dense walnut showing some usage marks (no cracks).
Has a factory metal butt plate, unaltered length of pull and full forearm stock. All working components are excellent, has been carried more than shot.
Metal works on barrel show signs of incorrect storage (blemishes) no pitting. All screws are unmolested. Bottom of trigger guard blemished. All original complete units are becoming harder to come by these days, especially with low serial number (05454).
