Timber is in great unmarked condition and presents well. Chequering on stock and forend is razor sharp, and the whole gun presents as though it has had little to no use.
Winchester pistol grip cap in great condition as is the genuine Winchester recoil pad fitted to the gun.
No missing blueing or wear marks inside the action to speak of. Rubber recoil buffer, which is the only real wear component of this gun, was replaced before the gun was even test fired by me. Brand new Viton high temperature O-ring installed in gas system. Some small patches of blueing missing off the longer barrel and LHS of action prevent this from being listed as excellent.
Comes with original box, instructions, safety information card, factory bill of sale, swing tag and magazine plug. Also comes with 26” improved cylinder skeet barrel as spare.
These are a very highly regarded clays and hunting gun among American shooters, particularly those living in the Southern states where they have something of a cult following. Gun will easily eject the empty of a light 28gm load 12 feet!
Would make a great addition to a Winchester collection or a soft shooting clay buster. I planned on making this my primary clays gun but have decided to sell as it doesn’t fit me as well as some of my other guns.
