This is a rifle for the serious WWII collector! All matching early war Arisaka Type 99, complete with original monopod, anti-air sight ladder, bolt cover and MUM! This is a once in a while rifle. All parts are original to the rifle and this is supported by the factory punch holes in all the screws.
The rifle is in fair condition as are all Arisakas. But this is a true museum piece, not a shooter. The rifle was bought from a deceased estate, was found in his shed, a suspected war souvenir as he was in the 2nd AIF in the Pacific.
