This Savage No.4 Mk.1 (NOT Mk1*) presents as if its done nothing. It has a mint 6 groove barrel and a Savage Mk1 micrometer rear sight. Wood is very good or better with a small gouge and a ding or 2. It appears that the rifle has been renumbered and reblued at some point a long time ago. With that said, this remains a very good example of the early Savage No.4 Mk.1.
