Very rare SMLE Mk.II*. Started life as a BSA 1894 made by Lee Metford Mk.II and converted to SMLE Mk.II* in 1907. Original matching action and .303 barrel. Mismatched bolt but correct pattern with slider on bolt head, firing pin release detent, No.2 magazine and sighted for Mk.VI ammo. Ex Turkish Govt disposal. HJS marked in original Long Lee style butt. If you collect SMLEs by Mark number, these do not come along often.
