Very nice Eddystone M1917 (M17). The action has been worked by a gunsmith in the early 80s. Has been drilled and tapped and the rear sight protection ears machined down. The action is very slick, polished and trued, all high quality work. Also has an adjustable match trigger fitted. The barrel is a Ferlach special match (Austria) and has minor pitting. I suspect it was shot new (very low round count), but never cleaned. I use another one in the same condition that came from the same collection, that is extremely accurate. Very nice walnut stock with incredible grain. Set up as a single shot for full bore comp.
