This Broomhandle Mauser was manufactured about 1913 by Waffenfabrik, Oberndorf a Neckar and comes with the timber shoulder stock and a leather holster.
It has matching numbers, including on the inside of the grip panels.
In very good condition for its age, with some dis-coloration and minor pitting where the gun has rested/rubbed when inside the timber shoulder stock-holster. Some minor pitting in the bore otherwise the rifling is very good.
It was obtained in Bavaria in 1945 and has been in the same family since then.
A very reluctant sale by the family. A brief history of how the gun came in their possession has been provided.
It comes with about 600 rounds of ammunition if collected directly from dealer.
