From my collection comes a stunning hard to find quality JM stamped Marlin 357 Magnum Cowboy, in the even harder to find 24in octagonal barrel version which has Ballard rifling. This version is the number one most desirable configuration for western action shooting. The fit and finish is excellent, and has a dark walnut chequered stock and forend with nice figure.

This rifle has barely been used, and is in excellent condition, the blueing is outstanding and the action is silky smooth, and is not some piece of junk that is shot out from many years of cowboy shooting or been neglected.

Here is a chance to own a quality JM Marlin, no need to compromise for a poor quality imitation Remlin (Remington made Marlin) that have earned such a bad reputation. Make no mistake, the JM rifle is far superior in every respect.

This Cowboy rifle was made in an era when the focus was on quality and attention to detail rather than how fast and cheap they can make them – which has been the case since the Remington took over production in 2009.
