Argentine Mauser 98 rebuilt, re-barrelled, restocked and refinished by quality gunsmith. Stock has shadow cheekpiece and palm swell. Rifle takes down by simply unscrewing the barrel/forend unit in 30 seconds allowing it to be carried in suitcase, backpack etc. Has a few scratches on stock from use and backpack carriage. Chip missing in wood between bottom metal and takedown point (about 1/8” square) near takedown join. Metal work deeply blued and in good condition. Rechambered by Kudu from 9.3x62 to 9.3x64 Brenneke which has ballistics equivalent to 375H&H (RWS factory load 293 grain projectile at 2590fps). Perfect for the one rifle traveller.
