Manufactured in 1982, these commemoratives differ from the other Winchester Commemoratives in that they are hand engraved (rather then the cheap machine rolled engraving found on the others) by the Italian Bottega C. Giovanelli. Only 999 were ever made so they are relatively rare. This one has a beautiful walnut stock that complements the quality engraving. Unfortunately no box. There is one very minor dent on the stock that should steam out completely. Contact me for more photos. The value of these are generally twice what you would pay for the other bulk commemoratives and they rarely come up for sale.
