"The gun that won the west!" Winchester's classic 1873 lever action saddle carbine in 44WCF (44-40). This rifle was manufactured in 1891 and is complete with saddle ring and original cleaning rods (in the stock).
The rifle is in good condition for its age. The bore is O.K. but has some pitting. The end of the barrel has been re-crowned and some of the barrel band screws are not original.
