The conversion to 7.62x39 is a work of art in itself, including a magazine that feeds smoothly and reliably. All metalwork has been beautifully re-blued, the sights are pristine, and the overall fit and finish are like no standard SMLE you’ve seen. Its timber is in very good to excellent condition. The flash eliminator, front sight and bayonet lug are genuine Jungle Carbine. Rob built this little gem for a military rifle enthusiast who wanted something special chambered in 7.62×39. We can’t imagine anything more suitable than this. We are told it is very accurate, too. Whether you’re going to use it at the range or for hunting, it will give you no end of satisfaction.
