Lithgow barreled receiver, the barrel has been a replacement at some time in the past - it is marked model 55, barrel serial number is 8694 which according to Lithgow Small Arms Museum records is a very late production in the last year 1961. The barrel is excellent internally but has some vice markes externally, has open sights fitted.
