1907 Winchester 1885 .218 Bee. Selling on consignment this owners rare Winchester 1885 high wall we believe with the action year dated 1907. This classic rifle was used on a property in South Australia to control game and vermin numbers in the 1960’s and 70’s according to the owner and had some more than 50 years ago been chambered to .218 bee with the barrel having good clean rifling and the wood work in very good order with no breaks or chips, the action locks up solidly and has good even patina. A great not so easy to find classic single shot rifle that you can use as is or would make a fantastic basis for a unique and magnificent custom single shot rifle. We have not fired the rifle and it is sold as we got it from the owner.
