Original Sako from the 1960s. This is one for the Collector or enthusiast. I bought this rifle from the original owner who purchased it complete with Lyman 3-9x38 scope and bridge mounts in the 1960s and owned it for 48 years. He cared for it like his baby and no one was allowed to touch it, not even his wife or mates. Consequently the stock is in pristine condition for its age displaying some nice figure and a high lustre. There are no dents or dings on the stock at all. The bluing is also original condition with the only wear being at the muzzle from being carried in the field in a gun bag. There is no rust inside and out with the bore and bolt face being shiny and bright with no marks. The trigger lets off like a typical glass rod breaking. The original owner ran around 2500 rounds through the rifle only using it for winter foxes over the 48 years. I have owned it for 5 years and only worked up some loads and found it a real pleasure to shoot with the accuracy producing typical clover leaf groups out to 100-150 yards.
